••this is second-hand information and MR cannot vouch for the veracity of the story. MR also has changed some information to protect the identities of the peole in the story.
Ofiice romance and trysts are really nothing new. hell, i, myself have done it with office mates in parking lots, motels and even with non-officemates in their secretaries' office chairs or their office's conference tables; but when an alleged straight guy who's the object of most girls and gays affection is at the center of a gossip, tongues will definitely wag.
I went to the office of a business partner/friend and we were discussing stuff. Let's call him J. We were at their lounge, generally a place where everybody else converged. So a few guys from their office were also there having mini-conferences with their own clients. Amidst the business stuff, J, in a whisper, asks me who I thought was "playful" in their office. I knew most of the people there, so I looked around and asked why. J tells me that there has been talk going on their office that one of the guys there did the deed. Naturally, i said that the nasty was something natural, unless of course it was done with one of their clients, which would have a new set of rules.
J. proceeds to tell me stuff in pieces. hmmm.. this was tricky, I knew he wanted to tell me something but it had to be done in a certain way. I had to play his gossip girl game for a while. i tell him that uhmmm...let's call him July... July had the makings of one who would take on a client. J asks me why. i said, well i know he's pretty much on the hot list of most women and men, i personally know a few people who like July. and that July was too accomodating in his dealings with clients. I wouldnt be surprised if he had teased someone too much to the point that a vertical meeting had been arranged for a few more accounts. "Mahal na ang bigas" i joked. J. drops the bomb.
J. tells me that it wasn't between one of the guys in their department and a client. i see. I stay silent and J suddenly switches gear and asks if there was anybody form the other departments who could play. hmmm.... this is getting tougher. was it between a client and someone form the other departments? I tell J that one of the guys from the other department was obviously the playing kind. J jokes around and switches topic to business.
A few more jokes and J. tells me it was an intra-office tryst, so the sex for account theory is dead. He tells me it had supposedly happen outside of the office but someone had spilled the beans. i tell J. "nakalibre na nga, nagkwento pa." I was dying to find out who the people in the story were but i still had to play J. i tell him that a few guys were also in people's hot list but that they seemed to be not the playing kind. A few more jokes and i ask who they were. He goes " di ba obvious?"
it was July and the obvious GUY in the department. sooooo....the staright story isnt so straight after all. what made the news so juicy that i was sinking my teeth into it was that i knew someone who was delirious about July but thought he was straight. well there goes that theory hehehe
And just how did the story leak? july was easily the looker in the department, and just about everyone had their eyes on the prized steak. So obvious-guy had to make territory marks, he had told someone that he and July went to the nasty mart, effectively telling off the bitches to stay away. what he hadn't count on was the gossip network in their company and before he could say " doodley squat" the word has reached management.
dunno what has happened to July or the obvious guy. i doubt if there are any sanctions to be done since nothing can actually be proven. Just goes to show that when it comes to office tryts, discretion is a virtue.
POST:
I tell J. that it's good that DJ (another guy in their department) is no longer part of their office, otherwise he would have been my prime suspect. J. tells me "oo naman, ilang taon na wala pa ring GF" hmmmm..... the plot gets thicker.
